What is Angus?

The Angus breed offers genetic advantages such as calving ease, growth, carcass quality (including marbling), and fleshing ability. They are naturally polled and their dark-pigmented skin helps avoid sunburned or snow-burned udders.

Angus offer versatility in a crossbreeding or straight breeding program. With Angus sired calves you can take advantage of marketing that is available through the Angus Source® program and Certified Angus Beef LLC. Angus are known for well-marbled, high quality beef.
